The fine polypropylene fibers are closely incorporated cylindrically in two stainless steel wires without clogging. Brushes can be recyclable used and has long lifespan of more than 5 years. At the top of a suspension hook is incorporated by injection molding, wherein both ends of the brush are protected with plastic caps, safe for installation and easy maintenance.

How to maintain the brush?

1. We suggest the Mountain Tree star filter brush should be cleaned once half a year. It depends on the size of your tank and pond.
2. When a significant amount of waste has built up on the brushes, it should be flushed away.
3. Keep an eye on it every month and the frequency depends on the size of your tank or pond.

What I should pay attention to when I use this product?

1. When being used, the filter brush should be fully submerged under water and well covered, to avoid direct sunlight or UV lighting.
2. When the water temperature is close to 0 degree Celsius or below, please do not move or clean the filter brush.
3. The filter brush should not be used under strong acid or strong alkali to avoid corroding and damaging the steel wire of the brush. It is not recommended to use the filter brush in sea water filtration system.
4. Maintenance: Except the low temperature environment that mentioned above, the spiral filter mat can be cleaned with low-pressure water nozzle.
